Cardiac EP Clinical Coordinator The Cardiac EP Clinical Coordinator supports outpatient and inpatient care of children diagnosed with transitory or permanent cardiac arrhythmias. This position interacts with the multi-disciplinary cardiac team and closely with the cardiac electrophysiologist in establishing an expert nursing program for the care of EP patients. The Cardiac EP Clinical Coordinator serves as a resource and identified contact person in this specialty area for hospital staff, community agencies, families and physicians. Through consultation and leadership, this position is responsible to identify the needs of families, community, and associates with regard to pediatric cardiac arrhythmias and to provide education and access to EP services at CHOC for identified needs. Job Requirements:

This position requires: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing • A minimum of two years of pediatric cardiology nursing experience and training in ambulatory and inpatient settings • California RN License, PALS • Strong communication and leadership skills are important. Role represents hospital of multiple committees. Flexibility and being a strong charge agent is desirable. • Training and experience in pediatric • Strong clinical knowledge of neonatal nursing is required. This position prefers: • MSN with EP lab nursing experience, as well as holter, pacemaker, event monitor and stress testing training and experience • Prior experience in progressive clinical, education, and leadership roles in pediatric acute care and ambulatory care settings, encompassing multidisciplinary services and a broad continuum of care is preferred.
