Job Description:
The Clinical Director, Invasive Cardiology will report to the Vice President, Cardiovascular Service Line and will play a vital role in the ongoing success of the Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics Heart Institute. The Clinical Director will be responsible for directing a department comprised of electrophysiology services, vascular services, a pre and post catheterization unit, and a six cardiac catherterization laboratory. The Clinical Director will be responsible for the effective operational management of the invasive Cardiology Unit which will include monitoring clinical effectiveness, adherence to best practice guidelines for optimal patient safety and outcomes as well as staff development, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related clinical field. Five years of Cath Lab experience. Three years invasive cardiology unit management. An advanced degree in nursing is preferred for oversight and direct responsibility for the cardiac inpatient units.
